Best photos of 2018
The year 2018 had it all — a freshly elected (and pregnant) Prime Minister, a Kaeo man’s long quest to bring his dead brother home, the first official commemorations of the New Zealand Wars, a reggae legend’s visit and a whale stranding with a tragic ending. Here are a few of my favourite photos of the year taken for the Northern Advocate newspaper, covering the spectrum from hard news to human interest.
